Operating within a highly collaborative Building Services Group, you will play an integral role in ensuring the effective delivery of electrical engineering solutions for some of Tasmania’s most prominent, complex, and exciting developments.
Key Responsibilities
In this senior-level role, you will be deeply involved in all project phases, from initial feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction-phase administration. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design & Documentation: Designing and managing high-quality documentation for electrical power, lighting, IT communications, security, and dry fire systems.
- Project Delivery: Actively leading and contributing to both single-discipline and complex, multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects
- Sector Diversity: Delivering a variety of prominent Tasmanian building projects across key sectors, including health, education, retail, tourism, custodial, government, and commercial offices
- Phase Management: Participating end-to-end across project lifecycles, ensuring seamless execution from design boards to site administration
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, architects, authorities, project managers, your immediate team, and the wider business
About You

What You Will Bring:
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of post qualification experience working specifically as an Electrical Engineer within a building services consultancy environment.
- Qualification: Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent high-level technical experience as an Electrical Designer.
- Compliance Know-How: A comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of Australian design standards and building codes (NCC).
- Organisational Skills: A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and methodically while managing competing project timelines
