Based out of either Hobart or Launceston, our client is looking for a qualified Electrician or experienced Service Technician to hit the road and keep Tasmania's commercial kitchens running smoothly
This is a dynamic, field-based role where no two days are the same. You will enjoy the freedom to manage your own day on the road, solve complex technical problems, and build strong relationships with clients, all while having the backing of a highly supportive team
What You’ll Be Doing
Conducting scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on a wide variety of commercial kitchen equipment
Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and equipment faults efficiently
Delivering outstanding, solutions-focused support and advice to clients on-site
Managing your daily schedule and completing service reports accurately via a company tablet
Working autonomously out in the field while maintaining strict safety and quality standards

What You’ll Bring
A Cert III in Electrotechnology / current Australian Electrical Licence
Proven experience as a Service Technician or a qualified Electrician
Exceptional fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
A solid grasp of electrical systems (mechanical or plumbing knowledge is a massive bonus!)
Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
A current Australian Driver’s Licence
A Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain them)
Permanent working rights in Australia
