I have several exciting projects and contracts available in policy, parliamentary and ministerial brief writing, governance and risk and compliance and am excited to speak with you if you are available, or soon to be!!

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Supporting the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects
• Reviewing government policies, procedures and guidelines with the ability to make informed decisions and provide recommendations for improvement and change management
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure scope and objectives are undertaken collaboratively, including negotiating and responding to critical issues, actions and changes that are required
• Coordinate and manage support groups and/or committees to discuss project timelines, review actions required and measure outcomes
• Proven writing skills and the ability to review information to prepare reports and other government documents including ministerials, briefings and cabinet submissions
• Implementing and contributing to policy review and development
  
• Management and development of Risk Registers and supporting agency compliance
• Secretariat and governance experience

Ideally you will possess:

• Sound knowledge of state government policies and Machinery of Government
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, independently, or as part of a team
• High level analytical skills to identify, evaluate and address issues and an ability to then plan and manage tasks, research and associated data with due regard to policy and political imperatives of the subject matter
