About your new role
The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects focused on the energy technology startup ecosystem, energy data, and sector digitalisation. Under the direction of senior leadership, the role involves taking projects through their full lifecycle from preparing briefs and establishing project plans to monitoring progress, evaluating outcomes, and resolving emerging roadblocks to keep milestones on track.
What you will need to exceed
... - A solid grasp of current Victorian energy policies, renewable energy technologies, energy data, and the broader startup/innovation ecosystem.
- Ability to map out tasks, track progress against key milestones, prepare comprehensive project briefs, and perform post-project evaluations.
- Familiarity with government frameworks, decision-making pathways, policy design methodologies, and grant administration processes.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships across diverse groups including energy startups, research institutions, commercial investors, and internal government teams.
- Ability to translate technical or data-heavy findings into plain, compelling language tailored to different audiences.
