About the Role
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Program Leader, you will be accountable for supporting the successful delivery of critical asset renewal projects and maintenance programs. Operating within an established Asset Management Framework, you will ensure defined levels of asset performance are met while keeping projects on time, within scope, and strictly on budget.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Managing and overseeing renewals delivered by internal Civil teams and Delivery Partners.
- Fostering a ‘one team’ approach by collaborating with divisions such as Strategic Asset Planning, Infrastructure Delivery, Network Services, and Resource Recovery.
- Developing comprehensive project plans to provide transparent and accurate reporting on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Identifying and assessing project risks, implementing effective mitigation measures, and ensuring regulatory requirements and industry standards are managed appropriately.
- Providing appropriate documentation and training to ensure a successful transition to business as usual at project close-out.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in project management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in project management, or working towards PMP attainment, will be viewed favorably.
- At least 1 year of experience in Utilities operations, strategy, or customer service is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to group-level projects to deliver enterprise outcomes, along with strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
