We are partnering with a prominent Western Australian Public Sector organization to source an experienced Power Platform Solutions Officer. This organization is dedicated to digital transformation and is looking for a professional to build secure, impactful, and well-governed low-code solutions that streamline business operations.
Position Purpose
As the Power Platform Solutions Officer, you will be the driving force behind the design, development, administration, and support of low-code business solutions. Operating primarily at a SFIA Level 3/4, you will work collaboratively with the ICT Project and Business Partner, project teams, and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, supportable, and highly documented digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Development & Delivery
Build & Configure: Design and deliver robust Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), Power Automate workflows, and integrated Microsoft 365 solutions.
Integration: Seamlessly configure integrations with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, and other approved organizational platforms.
End-to-End Delivery: Undertake comprehensive solution testing, manage implementation, and ensure smooth transition to operational support.
Continuous Improvement: Resolve technical defects, implement approved system enhancements, and maintain thorough technical documentation.
2. Power Platform Administration & Governance
Environment Management: Administer Power Platform environments, connectors, security roles, and user permissions.
Compliance: Support platform governance by implementing and maintaining Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and environment standards.
Monitoring: Actively track solution performance, platform utilization, and licensing requirements.
3. Data & Information Modelling
Architecture Mapping: Model where information is created, consumed, stored, and shared across the organization.
Documentation: Produce high-quality logical data models, information flow diagrams, and integration documentation.
Repository Management: Maintain application, process, and data relationships within Orbus Infinity, the ICT Solution Catalogue, and SharePoint solution pages.
4. Stakeholder & Lifecycle Governance
Enterprise Alignment: Ensure all project-delivered solutions are fully documented within the Enterprise Architecture repository prior to transitioning to operational support.
Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders (SFIA Level 4) to translate functional requirements and ensure deliverables meet strict architecture, security, privacy, and information management standards.
The Ideal Candidate (SFIA Skills Profile)
We are looking for a candidate who aligns with the following SFIA Level 3/4 capabilities:
Systems Design & Software Development (DESN / PROG): Proficient in designing and configuring low-code application architectures.
Data Modelling & Management (DTAN / DATM / IRMG): Strong ability to document data sources, information flows, and system dependencies.
Application & Configuration Support (ASUP / CFMG): Experienced in environment lifecycle management, release practices, and defect resolution.
Stakeholder Relationship Management (RLMT): Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical business stakeholders.
Tools & QA (METL / QUAS): Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools (experience with Orbus Infinity is highly regarded).
