About the Role
We are seeking fit, reliable, and motivated Labourers to join our team at a busy recycling and waste management facility.
In this role, you will be stationed on the processing line, performing vital quality control by sorting and picking materials to ensure a safe and efficient recycling process. This is a fast-paced, physical role that requires sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to site safety.
Key Responsibilities
Line Sorting: Stand for extended periods to pick/sort general waste and non-recyclable materials (metals, plastics, wood) from recyclables (concrete, asphalt, brick) and dispose of them via chutes.
Manual Handling
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, shovelling, hosing, and cleaning the pick hut and surrounding areas.
What You Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
White Card: Current Construction Induction Card (Mandatory).
Physical Fitness: Ability to undertake heavy, repetitive manual handling and stand for long periods.
Face Fit Mask Compliant: You must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal for mandatory Face Fit testing prior to commencement.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in process work within the recycling industry is highly regarded.
