About the Role
Are you an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Analyst looking to step into a vibrant, supportive People & Culture team? We are seeking a proactive Payroll Analysts to join a leading corporate enterprise supporting a large national workforce of approximately 4,500 employees.
Working closely with senior payroll leaders and operational specialists, you will play a critical role in high-volume payroll processing, system maintenance, transaction management, and reporting across multiple payroll and HR platforms. This is a fast-paced position offering genuine opportunities for ongoing coaching and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
...- Process high-volume fortnightly pay runs and monthly pay schedules accurately and on time.
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, data management, parental leave, and complex terminations.
- Utilize enterprise HRIS and time & attendance systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
- Perform payroll reporting, compliance checks, STP (Single Touch Payroll) filings, superannuation processing, and audit reviews.
- Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements (EBAs) and modern awards across full-time, part-time, and casual workforce groups.
- Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and People & Culture teams to resolve centralized payroll inquiries efficiently.
Key Requirements & Experience
- System Expertise: Experience working with major enterprise HRIS, payroll, or T&A platforms (e.g., SAP, Dayforce, Chris21, or SuccessFactors).
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills with strong analytical ability to troubleshoot system logic (understanding the "how" and "why").
- Background: Proven track record in medium-to-large fast-paced corporate environments handling high-volume fortnightly pay runs.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to assist peers.
