We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our team permanently. Based in the beautiful Townsville or Ayr region, this role is perfect for a dedicated driver who takes pride in their equipment, values safety, and is looking for consistent hours with a reputable company.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of machinery and materials. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Operating heavy vehicle floats.
- Driving truck and dog combinations.
- Working consistent 10-hour daily shifts.
- Performing pre-start checks and maintaining accurate logbook records.
- Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with chain of responsibility (CoR) regulations.
What You Need to Succeed
Safety and reliability are our top priorities. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current MC (Multi-Combination) Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience operating floats and truck & dog combinations.
- Clean Driving Record: A current traffic history report will be required.
- Clearances: You must be able to successfully pass a National Police Check.
- Health & Safety: Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical Assessment, as well as strict Drug & Alcohol screening.
- Location: You must currently reside in the Ayr region or have the ability and willingness to relocate to Ayr for this permanent role.
