About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a high-performing Financial Planning and Analysis team. Operating within the central Financial Services division, this role plays a critical part in shaping enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Working alongside senior finance leaders, you will turn complex financial data into meaningful business insights, scenario models, and strategic advice. You will be supported by a a dedicated and service-oriented finance team.
Your key deliverables will include:
- Partner with internal client groups to deliver end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting.
- Build dynamic scenario models, cost-benefit analyses, and financial projections to support strategic business cases and resource allocation.
- Track operational performance, manage key reporting acquittals, and assist with annual university group consolidations.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights to help non-finance stakeholders navigate risks and capitalise on growth opportunities. Cultivate collaborative working relationships across an extensive network of internal departments, university staff, and external bodies.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing financial systems and recommending operational efficiencies.
Ideal Profile
- CPA or CA qualified with demonstrated experience in management accounting, budget development and financial modelling within a complex environment.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical financial details for non-financial stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment working in a dynamic customer-focused team.
- Advanced technical skills across financial systems alongside strong Excel modelling, Power BI, and Power Query capabilities. TM1 is highly desirable.
