We are looking for a reliable, energetic Tree Labourer to join the crew keeping North Sydney’s street trees and parks looking incredible. If you enjoy physical work, love trees, and want to work with a team that has your back, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
No two days are exactly the same, but your main tasks will include:
Tree TLC: Helping out with pruning, maintenance, and tree removals using industry best practices.
Health Checks: Assisting the team in spotting bugs, diseases, and checking on the health of our local trees.
Site Setup & Safety: Helping manage traffic, setting up signage, and keeping the public safe while we work.
Gear & Clean Up: Safely operating machinery and tools, keeping the worksite tidy, and making sure the gear is well-maintained.
Teamwork: Following instructions from your Team Leader, keeping simple records (like timesheets)
What We’re Looking For:
The hiring manager’s wishlist is long, but here is what really matters to us. If you have the attitude and the physical fitness, we can help you get the rest!
The Must-Haves:
Experience: Proven experience in arboriculture practices (especially pruning and tree removal).
Licence: A current Class C Driver’s Licence.
Fitness: You need to be physically fit and ready for a hard day's graft in the elements.
Vibe: A great attitude, clear communication, and the ability to work smoothly in a team.
