Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise-level ICT Disaster Recovery capabilities, including disaster recovery plans, technical recovery runbooks, testing programs and recovery governance arrangements. Assessing organisational risk and capability gaps related to crisis management and infrastructure resilience.
• Development and maintenance of ICT Disaster Recovery Strategy, Policy and Standards.
• Coordination of disaster recovery governance, reporting and assurance activities.
• Oversight of Technical Recovery Runbook development across Technology functions.
• Management of ICT Disaster Recovery audit and remediation activities.

Technical skills

• ICT Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience frameworks
• Business Impact Analysis (BIA), system criticality assessments and recovery prioritisation
• Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
• Disaster recovery testing, assurance and reporting
• ICT governance, risk and compliance
• Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, SaaS) NIST, ISO 22301, PSPF and ISM

• Minimum of five years’ experience ICT Disaster Recovery, technology resilience, , cyber security or related fields.
• Experience in Australian Government organisations.
• Demonstrated experience developing ICT Disaster Recovery strategies, policies, standards, operating models or governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, system dependencies, resiliency patterns and cybersecurity principles.
