About the Opportunity
This Department has an exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner (ASO6 level) to join our agency in a newly created position.
Our agency is transitioning to a new HR platform specifically designed for the SA public sector. This role will serve as a key lead in assisting with this transition across functions including recruitment, learning & development (L&D), performance management, and succession planning. Additionally, you will support operational L&D content creation and policy development aligned with public sector requirements.
Key Responsibilities
HR System Implementation & Change: Lead and assist with the transition to the new SA public sector HR platform.
Systems Administration & Support: Provide hands-on HR systems administration and drive change management throughout the rollout.
L&D Content Development: Assist in designing and developing engaging learning content and training resources for the new system.
Policy Review & Development: Review, update, and draft HR policies to ensure strict alignment with public sector requirements and standards.
Autonomy & Collaboration: Work independently to deliver project milestones while collaborating across the broader team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience & Qualifications: Recent experience and/or training in Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on Learning & Development (L&D).
Systems & Change Background: Demonstrated experience in HR systems administration and change management.
Policy Capabilities: Proven background in reviewing and drafting HR policy.
Public Sector Context: Prior experience within the South Australian Public Sector is highly regarded.
Target Start Date: Ideally available to start by 10 August.
