Head of Business Development – Modular Residential

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, highly autonomous Head of Business Development to spearhead our commercial operations across the Australian residential market. Operating in an early-stage business environment, you will report directly to leadership and take full ownership of driving immediate sales results for our disruptive, factory-based volumetric construction solutions.

Our mission is to combat the housing crisis with automated, 12-hour production cycles that deliver ultra-high-strength concrete modular homes. The end product is completely indistinguishable from a traditional build, offering massive speed and financial advantages to our partners. Your primary focus will be targeting detached housing, townhouses, and low-rise apartments, turning technical credibility into a high-performing national pipeline.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive national commercial strategy for factory-based volumetric construction.

  • Secure a B2B pipeline with small and large residential builders and developers.

  • Act as a technical advisor on engineering and design integration.

  • Deliver sales results autonomously in an early-stage business footprint.
  • Manage financial models to demonstrate developer interest and time savings.

Previous Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the construction and building materials industry.
  • Degree in architecture or engineering preferred but not desired.
  • Extensive existing networks and deep connections with both small and large residential builders and developers across Australia.
  • Proven capability to operate with high autonomy in early-stage business environments to deliver immediate sales results.

Salary and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $220,000 – $250,000 per annum (negotiable based on seniority and experience).
  • Tools of Trade: Full vehicle allowance/company car included.
  • Future Growth: Opportunity to build a sales team to manage and grow as the business expands Nationally.
