Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role
Randstad are currently recruiting for a number of emergency response roles located in Mount Gambier. This will play a key part in the state's avian influenza (bird flu) surveillance and response operations, working directly in the field across Mount Gambier and nearby regional South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Field Surveillance & Collection: Drive throughout regional areas to locate, safely handle, and collect deceased specimens for disease monitoring.
Bio-security Protocols: Strictly adhere to bio-security guidelines, PPE usage, hygiene, and safety protocols to ensure containment and personal safety.
Field Operations: Work independently in varied outdoor environments, effectively managing your time, route, and daily priorities without direct supervision.
Key Requirements
Driver's Licence: Valid Australian C-Class (Full) Driver’s Licence.
Background Check: National Police Check completed within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain one immediately).
Work Ethic: Strong self-motivation and the ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Attention to Detail: High commitment to safety standards, procedure compliance, and data accuracy.
