A leading organisation is currently seeking a proactive, organized, and highly collaborative Facilities Coordinator for an immediate start to join their team for a 2-week placement. This is a short-term, full-time position designed for someone ready to hit the ground running, take immediate responsibility for their operational facilities management, and ensure the environment runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

About the Role
As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of our premises, providing crucial support for, monitoring the performance of, and coordinating a small team of multi-skilled operatives. You will develop close working relationships with key client stakeholders, landlords, managing agents, and facilities vendors to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Team Coordination & Vendor Support: Coordinate and monitor the performance of a small team of multi-skilled operatives. Assist in managing all site contractors to ensure they perform to required standards, and aid in the procurement of vendors and services.
- Financial Management: Assist in financial processes and ensure prompt, accurate management of purchase orders within our internal platform. Help monitor finance trackers and assist with monthly accrual reports.
- Site Inspections & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections, assessments, and safety/building audits. Assist in implementing property risk management programs and industry best practices to maintain premises in excellent working condition at all times.
- Operations & Continuity: Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring established escalation and incident reporting procedures are followed.
- Reporting & Performance: Provide support for regular management reports and ad-hoc projects, while consistently striving to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets.
About You
We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong foundation in facilities maintenance and an energetic, confident approach to problem-solving. To be successful, you will possess:
- Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience with a solid understanding of monthly periodical preventative maintenance.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and seamlessly as part of a wider team.
- Adaptability: A self-motivated attitude with the proven ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical & Practical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A clean driving record is essential for this position.
