What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be a key part of the digitisation team, ensuring the accurate conversion and storage of critical records. Your day to day tasks will include:
- High Volume Data Entry: Accurately inputting information into secure databases at a fast pace.
- Document Preparation: Removing staples, binding, and sorting physical files ready for scanning.
- Imaging and Scanning: Operating industrial grade scanners to convert physical records into high quality digital assets.
- Quality Assurance: Auditing digital files against physical copies to guarantee complete accuracy.
- Records Management: Cataloguing and indexing files securely for long term storage or disposal.
What We Are Looking For
You will need a sharp eye for detail, a professional approach, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. We are looking for:
- Speed and Accuracy: A high alphanumeric data entry keystroke rate, which will be tested upon registration.
- Technical Literacy: Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for long periods and safely lift archive boxes when required.
- Clearance and Eligibility: Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this role. Candidates holding an active Baseline AGSVA clearance or higher will be highly regarded.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality, consistency, and exceptional attention to detail.
