Duty supervisor – Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre
The City of Onkaparinga operates the Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC), a leading community facility in southern Adelaide. Each year, we welcome around 300,000 visitors.
The centre includes a 25m lap and program pool, a family pool, a fully equipped gym, squash courts, multi-purpose sports courts and a busy kiosk. We support everything from everyday recreation to major regional events. We are a welcoming, inclusive and professional workplace. About the role
As duty supervisor, you lead the centre during your shift. You oversee daily operations, support staff and ensure a safe, well-run facility.

Key responsibilities
- supervise daily operations across the centre
- lead and support staff on shift
- provide clear direction and be the first escalation point
- ensure health, safety and wellbeing of all patrons
- complete administrative and financial tasks
- deliver high-quality customer service
What you bring
- leadership experience in an aquatic or recreation setting
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- a positive and professional approach
Qualifications and requirements
You must hold or be willing to obtain:
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate
- Provide First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Child Safe Environments training
