Through a best-practice, full-lifecycle management approach, we maintain equipment deployed in complex environments, ensuring our operational capabilities consistently meet organisational objectives and strict regulatory guidelines.
About the RoleReporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a critical role in keeping our diverse fleet safe, compliant, and fully operational. You will be responsible for conducting high-quality repairs and scheduled maintenance on vehicle appliances, pumps, systems, and associated equipment.
A core focus of this role is ensuring that all fleet assets comply strictly with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR), Transport and Main Roads (TMR) legislative guidelines, the Queensland Transport Operations (Road Use Management – Road Rules) Regulations 2009, and the Transport Operations Act 1995.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic, repair, and scheduled maintenance work on a diverse range of light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles.
Service and repair vehicle appliances, high-pressure pumps, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure all maintenance meets NHVR and TMR legislative compliance standards.
Complete accurate and timely job sheets and data entry for all maintenance activities.
Champion a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
We are seeking a safety-focused and highly skilled Diesel Fitter who takes pride in producing quality work and maintaining meticulous compliance standards.
Mandatory Requirements:
Relevant Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic).
Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test.
Ability to successfully pass a Police Check.
Strong commitment to WHS practices and procedures.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated hands-on experience working with High-Pressure Pumps, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
Previous experience working within NHVR and TMR compliance frameworks is highly regarded.
