Your New Company/Role:
As an ASX listed organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Billing/Accounts Officer to join their team on a permanent full time basis. The role is to be based in their Huntingwood NSW 2148 office. Onsite parking is provided alongside 1 day work from home flexibility once gone permanent. The role is open to someone who is junior as long as they have some understanding of GL accounting/Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting to a nurturing Finance Manager; you are responsible for
- Daily PayPal receipt report and entering
- Daily Bank Reconciliation for 2 companies
- Look after a few Contracts / Accounts
- Review / Check PO and post Interco AP for related contracts
- Check and bill out completed jobs
- Lodge invoice in customer payment platform (if required by contract)
- Run Warehouse report and bill Warehouse charge accordingly
- Debtor chasing: Run Debtor statements weekly and send to Account Directors
- Weekly reconcile 3PL Priceline Invoices on Despatch and lodge into COUPA
- Some assistance within the accounts payable department
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Ideal Profile
This opportunity is for someone who has experience within vendor master data/supplier setup and vendor management. You will also bring:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
- Previous experience (1 - 2 years) in a similar role
- Junior candidates are welcomed to apply - must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident of AU or NZ
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Prior experience in large ERP systems like Oracle Netsuite or Prism would be advantageous but not essential
- Intermediate Excel skill - Vlookup functions, Sum If functions and Pivot Table
- Someone who is switched on, quick learner and able to multi task
