About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, manufacture, and maintenance of Brisbane City Council’s fleet of coaches and buses. Key responsibilities include:

• Structural & Body Maintenance
• Painting and General Refurbishment
• Collaborating with Trade Assistants and Apprentices
• Modifying Heavy Vehicles and Buses
• Fabrication and Welding Tasks
• Assembly According to Technical Specifications
• Maintaining a Safe Working Area at All Times

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations OR Certificate III in Automotive (Vehicle Body - Building).
• Proven experience in bus or coach bodybuilding.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines.
