Step into a pivotal support role where your coordination transforms daily operations. As a Business Support Officer, you will act as the engine room for the Service Manager, proactively driving administrative efficiency and taking charge of calendars, priorities, and workflows. By lifting the administrative burden, you directly empower leadership to focus on strategic team engagement, key stakeholder relationships, and successful operational outcomes.
- Deliver efficient, reliable business support and workflow coordination in line with corporate policies and governance requirements.
- Oversee diary and calendar management, handle correspondence, prepare documents, and assist with event coordination, financial, and HR processes.
- Monitor, coordinate, and follow up on business activities, priorities, and action items to ensure all deadlines are met within agreed timeframes.
- Gather, consolidate, and present high-quality data and information inputs to support monthly reporting and management decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records, digital filing systems, and internal databases while ensuring information remains accessible and strictly confidential.
- Coordinate meetings, committees, and working groups, including preparing agendas, organizing presentations, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
- Assist with small to medium projects, research tasks, and continuous process improvements, managing project deadlines and reporting progress.
What will you need to be successful in this role
- Strong administrative experience with a proven track record of handling diverse operational tasks.
- Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Copilot.
- Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage schedules and priorities on behalf of others.
- Prior experience or familiarity with PowerBI is highly advantageous, though not a mandatory requirement.
What You’ll Receive
- $59.14 per hour plus super
- 2 x 2 year contracts available
- Various/flexible work locations available, including Eagle Farm, Holland Park, Kangaroo Point
- Work from home available 1 day per week
