- Pay Rate: $43.82 per hour + super
- Locations: Northam, Albany, Carnarvon, or Kalgoorlie (WA) (You can choose your preferred location)
- Tenure: 12-month assignment (opportunity for extension)
- Hours: Full-time (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Overview
Randstad is recruiting community-minded professionals for an APS4 Local Community Connector role within our client’s Service Delivery team. Operating as an on-the-ground representative, you will act as a primary contact for individuals with disability, families, and carers - helping them navigate NDIS pathways and connect with mainstream community supports. Working within established guidelines, you will deliver customer service, collect required details, and assist with participant plan processes.
This position involves direct community outreach, home visits, and travel across regional and remote areas.
Key Duties
- Community Engagement: Share accurate information regarding NDIS access, local programs, and mainstream services to foster community inclusion.
- Participant Guidance: Help participants navigate access choices, verify documentation, monitor existing plans, and perform regular checks.
- Cultural Safety: Interact respectfully with First Nations communities, using cultural understanding to build trust and maintain inclusive practices.
- Problem Resolution: Address enquiries and handle moderately complex client matters with diplomacy and discretion.
- System & Administrative Support: Keep participant records updated using specialized database systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Key Requirements
- Fieldwork & Travel: Readiness to complete offsite visits, including home visits and overnight trips to remote locations.
- Driving Capabilities: Hold a valid Driver’s Licence and be comfortable driving extended distances, including on unsealed roads.
