This dynamic role delivers crucial reception and administrative relief support across DASSA’s Outpatient, Withdrawal, and Business Services units. If you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, this is the perfect next step for your healthcare admin career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-facing Excellence: Provide empathetic, highly professional reception support to clients, visitors, and external stakeholders (such as courts and legal firms).

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Manage electronic appointment diaries, client reminders, room allocations, and text message updates.

  • Data & Records Management: Register new clients using electronic records systems (CME/Objective), perform high-accuracy data entry, and handle incoming correspondence.

  • Clinical Admin Support: Support duty doctors with prescription workflows, manage stationery orders, and assist with confidential Needle Syringe Program data collection.



What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this position, you must be a flexible team player who can handle high-pressure situations with absolute tact, diplomacy, and resilience.

  • Proven experience in a medical reception or health administration setting.
  • Strong typing skills (60 wpm with 98% accuracy).

  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and electronic client database systems.

  • You must possess a reliable vehicle and a current, valid driver’s licence, as this role involves travelling between various office locations at short notice.

  • A current National Police Check (NPC) is mandatory for this role.
