About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-centric Operations Officer to join our Estates and Facilities team. In this diverse role, you will act as the first point of contact for facilities management services, ensuring high-quality, responsive support across our campuses. You will manage customer enquiries, coordinate bookings, handle external facility hires, and maintain accurate data within our corporate systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service regarding facilities management to internal staff, visitors, and members of the public.
- Workflow & Booking Coordination: Coordinate room and vehicle bookings, manage service requests, and oversee external facilities hire—including conducting tours, preparing quotes, and administering agreements.
- Systems & Data Fluency: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data across corporate information systems, including Space Management and Room Booking platforms.
- Operational & Emergency Support: Assist with security-related protocols, ensure procedural compliance, and provide hands-on support during campus incidents or emergencies as directed.
Skills and Experience Required
- Customer Focus: Proven experience delivering excellent customer service, conflict management, and negotiation skills within a team-based environment.
- Strong Administration: High-level organisational skills, strong data entry accuracy, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and web-based platforms.
- Communication & Discretion: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to confidentiality and operational protocols.
- Qualifications: A commitment to ongoing learning, demonstrated by relevant work-related experience and/or training.
