Workforce Planner – Purpose-Driven Operations

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planner for a crucial 6-month project starting at the end of July. Due to the sensitive nature of these operations, the work location is highly classified, but you will be operating in a dynamic and specialized environment.
You will become part of a dedicated, tight-knit team of 3, taking collaborative ownership of workforce planning and scheduling for approximately 500 staff across 2 secure sites.

Key Responsibilities
Roster Management: Work within your team of 3 to create, manage, and optimize complex work schedules for 500 staff across 2 sites, ensuring safe and adequate staffing levels at all times.
Workforce Support: Monitor attendance, process leave requests, and assist with onboarding to support smooth and compliant daily operations.
Reporting & Analytics: Maintain highly accurate workforce records, prepare detailed reports, and analyze trends to identify areas for efficiency and operational improvement.
Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to workplace policies, labor laws, and strict confidentiality and security requirements.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact between employees and management to resolve scheduling conflicts and facilitate clear, respectful communication.
What You Need to Succeed
Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience managing complex rostering and scheduling for large workforces across multiple sites.
Technical Proficiency: Strong intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
Systems Experience: Previous hands-on experience utilizing Payroll Metrics is highly desirable.
