About the Role
This position is perfect for an organized, detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in logistics, perhaps a former truck driver or someone with prior weighbridge experience, looking for a stable administrative and customer-facing opportunity. You will be the central point for managing truck movements, handling customer queries, and ensuring smooth, safe site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Expertly handling a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and solutions.
Efficiently managing truck allocation and scheduling to meet operational demands and client needs.
Operating the weighbridge, processing loads, and ensuring compliance with all necessary documentation.
Competently receiving and taking phone calls and utilizing UHF and Two-Way communications on site to coordinate drivers and operations staff.
Maintaining accurate records, managing general administrative tasks, and assisting with reporting.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in handling customer enquiries and solving logistical issues.
Broad and practical knowledge of the Sunshine Coast & Brisbane road networks is essential for effective truck allocation. Ideally, a background in heavy vehicle operations or coordination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong time management and organizational abilities.
A good safety culture and an unwavering commitment to site safety protocols are paramount.
Technical Skills:
Competence in Excel spreadsheets for basic data entry and record keeping.
Experience with S.A.P. and report generation is a bonus, but not essential.
