We have a great opportunity to build your career in the Waste Industry delivering essential waste management services across Melbourne within local councils. We are currently seeking experienced and safety-focused HR drivers for contract opportunities operating Rear/Side lift waste trucks.
Pay rate: $48 - $56
... Location: North and West Suburbs
Shifts: Monday to Friday | Early starts between 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate rear/side Lift trucks for scheduled commercial waste collections
- Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
- Follow route schedules efficiently and report any delays or issues
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
Requirements
- Valid HR Truck Licence
- Minimum 6-12 months HR driving experience (waste industry experience highly regarded)
- Strong reliability and commitment to early morning starts
- Driving history report required
- Have Rear, Front or Side Lift Experience
