Randstad has partnered with a local government client to recruit a Transport Planning Specialist who will lead the development of a robust, integrated transport infrastructure capital investment pipeline. In this role, you will draw together inputs from transport modelling, planning studies, safety initiatives, asset renewals, and Brisbane 2032 Games planning to build a evidence-based road map. This work will directly guide future budget priorities, support sustainable asset management, and ensure long-term readiness for regional growth and transport demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of existing transport project pipelines into a concise investment pipeline.

• Draw together inputs from transport modelling, planning studies, safety initiatives, asset renewal programs, growth planning and Games-related planning.

• Develop the evidence base and approach for a transport investment prioritisation framework.

• Undertake stakeholder engagement and workshops to identify, assess and refine project priorities.

• Integrate transport planning priorities with asset management and renewal planning considerations.

• Prepare executive-level reporting, governance material and budget briefing products.

• Support development of a repeatable framework that can be matured and updated in future years
