Your New Role
As the Territory Manager for NSW North, your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth and customer success across a high-potential territory. You will develop new business opportunities and manage key relationships across Academia, Medical Research Institutes, Biotech, Pharma, and Private & Public Laboratories.
Representing a product portfolio with an outstanding market reputation, you will increase regional market share by building strong customer partnerships and providing high-quality technical and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Regional Revenue: Achieve and exceed sales targets by winning new greenfield business and expanding key existing accounts.
- In-Field Customer Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact through high-frequency, face-to-face customer interactions,utilising a consultative, value-based selling approach.
- Technical Expertise: Deliver trusted technical and commercial advice, utilising regular local product training to maintain deep knowledge of the life science portfolio.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Leverage digital tools to track opportunities, monitor sales performance, and identify market trends.
- Campaign & Lead Execution: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on campaigns, trade shows and exhibitions
- Demonstrations & Support: Conduct product demonstrations, customer training, and basic equipment maintenance/troubleshooting as required.
- Market Intelligence: Provide valuable market insights and feedback during regular Sales & Marketing strategy meetings.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc or BSc Hons) in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience: Ideally 2+ years of commercial sales experience or technical field experience within the Life Sciences industry.
- Mindset: Sales-driven, highly customer-centric, and eager to deliver value to researchers and lab managers.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong commercial acumen to convert opportunities.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with CRM systems (Dynamics) and digital sales tools.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel regionally within the territory, with occasional interstate or international travel as required.
