Are you a skilled risk professional looking to elevate your career in the digital space? We are seeking a Technology Risk and Resilience Specialist to provide senior second-line risk oversight across complex, technology-enabled initiatives. In this key advisory role, you will deliver authoritative risk insights, governance, and assurance across data governance, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud platforms, and crisis management, helping shape a secure and resilient operational environment.
1) What You Will Do:Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge across technology risk management, cyber security, and resilience activities.
Develop, implement, and evaluate technology policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Design, coordinate, and execute independent control testing and assurance activities across core technology and recovery domains.
Deliver expert advice and regular reporting to key stakeholders regarding emerging threats, cloud resilience, and systemic risk trends.
Review root cause analyses following incidents to ensure sustainable, long-term remediation actions are successfully embedded.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in technology or information security risk management, assurance, or control testing (preferably within financial services).
Subject matter expertise in data governance, AI risk management, and cloud-based environments.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to challenge and influence senior leadership.
Track record of successfully embedding uplifted risk frameworks; relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, CCSP) or experience in APRA-regulated environments are highly desirable.
