Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Technical Document Writer within a leading mining and resources organisation.
Based at our client’s mine site (with every second week working from Adelaide office, or home possible), the Technical Writer will create and update documents specifically relating to engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, reviewing, updating, and formalizing engineering standards documents
- Deciphering information and transforming complex engineering standards into documents that are easy to read, accessible and understandable
- Foster effective and productive working relationships across all internal and external stakeholders
- Working close with engineering teams to collate critical information
- Developing work instructions, procedures, or other technical documents as part of the project completion process
To be considered for the role you will have:
- At least 3 years of technical writing experience
- Relevant engineering qualifications (civil, electrical or mechanical)
- Experience in developing work instructions, procedures or technical documents
- Strong attention to detail with analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to prioritise tasks
- Previous mining experience is highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- High level of computing and editing skills is essential
- Previous experience with SAP & Master Data load sheets would be advantageous
