This key assignment offers up to 12 months of impactful work within a large, complex organisation. You will serve as the core subject matter expert, taking ownership of expert taxation advice, technical accounting interpretations, and statutory financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary source of expertise for all taxation and taxation policy requirements.
Provide authoritative guidance on the interpretation and application of Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation, and internal financial policies.
Provide input into the coordination and preparation of statutory consolidated financial statements, ensuring high compliance, accuracy, and transparency.
Prepare reports and presentations for audit committees and key stakeholders while collaborating with external auditors and regulators.
Oversee and deliver technical accounting training and guidance across the organisation while driving continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, systems, and internal controls.
Requirements & Qualifications
Full CPA or CA qualification along with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Extensive recent background in taxation, technical accounting, and statutory reporting within a large, complex organisation.
Ability to interpret and apply Australian Accounting Standards, legislative changes, and financial reporting frameworks.
Strong communication and influencing skills with experience in advising executives, external stakeholders, and mentoring professional staff.
Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
