About the Role
Are you a technical construction leader or seasoned property supervisor who knows how to coach others? We are seeking a Team Leader to manage a close-knit team (approx. 5–8 direct reports) of Desktop Assessors. You will lead day-to-day team performance, drive scope accuracy and cost control, manage complex escalations, and upskill frontline staff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of desktop property assessors to maintain high service standards.
Upskill team members on residential scoping accuracy, cost validation, and technical repair methodologies.
Act as the technical escalation point for complex property claims and builder scope disputes.
Monitor team productivity, operational KPIs, and claims performance metrics.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable office culture.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Home Assessing, Building Construction, Residential Estimating, or Property Restoration.
People Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, or mentoring teams (either in building, insurance, or operational environments).
Technical Capability: Strong practical understanding of trade repair processes, residential building scopes, and cost structures.
Communication & Resilience: Skilled in conflict resolution, handling customer escalations, and managing trade partner relationships
