Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent’s Representative to deliver high-quality contract administration services across major and complex construction and engineering projects. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that both contractual parties fulfill their obligations honestly, fairly, and in strict compliance with relevant standards and contractual provisions, from tender acceptance through to final certification.

Contract Duration: 14/09/2026 – 29/01/2027 with likely rolling contract
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Administration & Supervision: Manage operational oversight for traditional construction and engineering contracts, including regular site inspections, leading standardised site meetings, issuing Variation Orders, assessing contractual claims, and processing Contractor Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Compliance & Dispute Resolution: Ensure Building Act compliance inspections and records are maintained. Provide expert advice to support the Superintendent with dispute resolution processes and implement standardised performance evaluation systems for contractor registers.
- Communication & Policy: Maintain open communication with clients and project teams regarding cost, time, and quality factors while adhering to established organisational protocols and systems.
- Process Improvement & Safety: Participate in quality assurance reviews and actively apply Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and employment equity principles across all project activities.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Current Driver's Licence.
- Highly Desirable: Proven experience in Contract Administration for major construction or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of contractual rights, obligations, and standardised procedures.
- Current Open Class C Driver's Licence (QLD) or equivalent.
- Requirement to undergo a criminal history check prior to appointment.
- Current Australian working rights (Evidence will be requested during the application process.)
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
