Sector: Architectural Hardware, Decorative Surfaces & Light Manufacturing
Build a Long-Term Career with Industry Leaders on Brisbane’s Northside
Looking for steady, reliable warehouse work where your day isn't just mindlessly scanning boxes?
Major Australian, family-owned distributor of decorative surfaces, premium board products, and architectural hardware. Supplying cabinet makers, joiners, and the design sector, we pride ourselves on precision, product knowledge, and a team-first work culture.
We are seeking an energetic Warehouse & Storeperson All-Rounder for our North Brisbane operations. With close operational and talent synergies alongside premium manufacturers. This role provides dependable stability, varied daily work, and exposure to universal warehousing and production environments.
What You’ll Do
A dynamic mix of core storeperson logistics and hands-on assembly tasks:
...Inbound & Outbound Operations: Safely unload containers and trucks, check delivery dockets, receipt stock, and put away inventory into designated racking.
Order Fulfilment: Pick and assemble customer orders accurately using pick slips and RF scanners, bundle timber/hardware components, and prep shipments for transport.
Forklift Operations: Move heavy, bulky, and delicate sheet materials, pallets, and cartons using counterbalance and high-reach forklifts.
Light Manufacturing & Assembly: Assist on the floor with basic machine operation, assembly, product staging, and quality control checks.
Stock & Facility Upkeep: Perform cycle counts, support inventory accuracy, and maintain a tidy, safety-compliant warehouse floor.
What We’re Looking For
We value versatile, practical team players with transferable skills:
Current Forklift Licence (LF): Confident and safe operation in busy warehouse environments.
Storeperson / Logistics Background: Proven experience in dispatch, receipting, pick/pack, or inventory management.
Production / Assembly Experience: Comfortable working around tools, light processing machinery, or assembly benches (bonus, not mandatory—we train).
Work Ethic & Reliability: Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and a focus on safety standards.
Physical Capability: Comfortable with standard manual handling and working on your feet across the shift.
What’s in It for You?
Convenient Northside Location: Easy commute with on-site parking, avoiding cross-city peak-hour traffic.
Steady Work Schedule: Consistent Monday–Friday day shifts for genuine work-life balance.
Every Day Is Different: Avoid monotony with a balanced rotation across forklift driving, picking, and hands-on production tasks.
Universal Skill Development: Broaden your capabilities across premium building supplies and industrial manufacturing workflows.
Great Team: A down-to-earth, collaborative work environment backed by stable, well-regarded brands.
