In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steers across various sites, carrying out earthmoving/civil tasks, and using your HR licence to drive heavy vehicles to move machinery, materials, and equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Safe and efficient operation of skid steer loaders on site (civil construction, earthmoving, material handling).
Operating HR vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and site loads.
Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance on machinery.
Following site safety procedures, traffic management plans, and environmental guidelines.
Working collaboratively with site supervisors, labourers, and other machine operators.
Requirements & Qualifications
Mandatory: Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence.
Mandatory: Skid Steer Ticket / Verification of Competency (VOC)
Minimum [1–2+] years of experience operating skid steers in earthmoving or civil construction environments.
Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Reliable transportation and high level of punctuality.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
