Site Engineer | High-Rise Residential ($95M)

Package: $110,000 – $130,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Our client, a highly regarded tier-2 builder known for delivering premium residential developments, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project team delivering in Chatswood.
This $100M icon features high-end luxury finishes. You will work alongside a high-performing site team, taking ownership of structural and fitout packages through to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities
Package Management: Direct management of structural (concrete, post-tensioning, jumpform) and internal fitout trade packages.
Quality Assurance: Manage ITPs, hold points, defect management, and drive high QA standards across all trades.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with project specifications, NCC, and Australian Standards.
Procurement & Design: Assist with trade lettings, material procurement, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving RFIs with consultants.
Program Execution: Monitor weekly short-term site programs and coordinate subcontractors to meet key milestones safely and on schedule.
Selection Criteria
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Site Engineer within the Australian market. Proven residential project experience is essential.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of deep excavation, retention systems, RC structures, and luxury interior fitout details.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, trade management, and problem-solving skills under tight site constraints.
