The Opportunity

Valued at $1B, we are seeking a Construction Manager to lead the package of works from civil earthworks through to structural concrete, building construction, and commercial handover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead package execution across site earthworks, heavy foundations, structural concrete, and facility buildings construction.
Interface daily with HV technology partners, equipment installers, and grid connection teams to manage civil-to-tech handovers.
Direct end-to-end procurement strategies for long-lead items, heavy structural components, and specialist trade packages.
Lead market engagement, complex subcontractor negotiations, scope splits, and risk allocation to protect package budgets.
Manage master schedules, package budgets, and resource allocation to hit critical project milestones.
Act as primary operational liaison for client reps, site superintendents, TNSPs, and local authorities.
Enforce site-wide safety, environmental standards, and quality assurance for high-voltage construction.
Drive package commercial performance, claims, variation management, and monthly P&L reporting.
What We're Looking For
Proven Construction Manager or SPM with background on major civil/structural construction packages valued at $500m+.
Hands-on expertise in heavy structural concrete, industrial buildings, and civil groundworks.
Prior experience delivering interface-heavy energy, utility, or power infrastructure packages.
Strong commercial acumen, advanced procurement experience, and full package P&L accountability.
Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (or equivalent).
Based in or willing to relocate/commute to the Gippsland / Traralgon region.
