...About the Role
Working both autonomously and collaboratively within a tight-knit team of four, you will price a diverse portfolio of new build Industrial Projects to first principles on Warehouses, Storage Facilities, Car showrooms and large Retail Outlets.
Prepare accurate first-principles estimates for projects ranging from $1M to $100M.
Work closely with the other Estimators to execute competitive tender strategies.
Maintain effective daily communication and seamlessly hand over winning tender strategies to site teams.
Utilize local market knowledge to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of estimating experience with an established Tier 1, 2, or 3 Industrial or Commercial head contractor in Australia.
Track Record: Proven success in winning head contract tenders valued over $2M+.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Cubit, Buildsoft, or equivalent estimating software.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Australian construction methods, standards, and local subcontractor networks.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent building qualifications.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
