Are you a strategic Workforce Planning Leader who wants to make an impact on a national scale by designing workforce planning frameworks and driving executive decision-making?

I am currently partnering with a prominent Federal Government client in the disability sector with this exciting and specialised senior executive role within the agency’s Accessibility, Inclusion and People Insights branch.

About the Opportunity

As the Senior Enterprise Workforce Planning Specialist, you will lead the development and operation of the Agency's enterprise workforce planning capability. You will integrate workforce demand, supply, cost, and funding information to evaluate workforce scenarios, establish governance frameworks, and provide strategic advice to support high-level executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading enterprise workforce planning methodology development and establishing robust workforce planning frameworks and governance.
• Conducting workforce demand and supply analysis, integrating workforce, financial, and operational datasets.
• Designing, evaluating, and facilitating complex scenario modelling to highlight assumptions, impacts, risks, and trade-offs.
• Leading executive reporting and briefing preparation, including presenting monthly position papers and strategic advice.
• Driving stakeholder engagement across business areas, Finance, and HR to negotiate priorities and agree on enterprise workforce positions.
• Translating workforce and financial data interpretation into evidence-based decision-making and sustainable workforce strategy.

Ideally you will possess:

• Extensive experience leading enterprise workforce planning, workforce strategy, methodology development, and setting up workforce planning frameworks and governance.
• Strong expertise in workforce demand and supply analysis, workforce and financial data interpretation, and executive reporting.
• Proven capability in scenario modelling, driving evidence-based decision-making, and high-level stakeholder engagement.
