We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Content Writer to lead the end-to-end rewrite and restructure of their website content. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing digital presence by executing a new Information Architecture , conducting thorough content audits, and establishing a sustainable distributed content authoring model across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development: Lead the audit of existing website content to eliminate gaps and duplication. Write, edit, and publish high-quality, plain-language web and social media copy aligned with brand narratives.
Information Architecture & CMS: Structure web content for improved user experience using WordPress, establishing clear guidelines for metadata, tagging, and formatting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal operational, legal, safety, and policy teams to translate technical/regulatory material into plain English.
Accessibility & Quality Control: Ensure all digital assets comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and government accessibility requirements, converting complex PDFs into accessible HTML content where applicable.
Distributed Authoring Support: Build project frameworks to empower internal teams to author content, providing documentation, style guides, and process support.

Digital Writing Expertise: Proven experience writing and editing high-performing digital copy across web and social channels.

Desirable Skills:
