Randstad is partnering with a highly respected client specialising in luxury apartment developments, with a proven track record of delivering high-end residential and mixed-use projects. With a strong pipeline of projects underway, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Administrator ready to take a step up to join their Brisbane team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of large-scale apartment developments. Working closely with the project team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of subcontract packages, procurement, cost control, contract administration, variations, progress claims, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting. This is a hands-on role where you will help drive the commercial success of projects while ensuring contractual obligations, budgets, and project milestones are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer subcontract packages, including claims, variations, EOTs, payment schedules, and contract correspondence.
- Support procurement and subcontract letting, including preparing scopes, tender packages, and reviewing subcontractor submissions.
- Assist with cost control activities, including budget tracking, progress claims, variations, and monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure contractual and commercial requirements are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Experience Required
- Experience as a Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator, or Contracts Manager within the Australian construction industry.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential apartment, high-rise, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, contract administration, and commercial processes.
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
