About the Opportunity
If you’re eager to join a long-established, comprehensive building group that priorities safety, client satisfaction, and work-life balance, we want to hear from you.
Our client has been an industry leader for over 30 years, renowned for their complete in-house capabilities—handling everything from high-detail commercial maintenance to comprehensive interior fit-outs and multi-disciplinary construction. They are currently looking for a Project Supervisor to join their team, taking ownership of a specific region or portfolio and managing projects up to $500K.

The Role
This isn't just about site management; it's about end-to-end project ownership. You will be the primary point of contact for your area, bridging the gap between quoting and completion. Uniquely, you will lead a blend of specialised in-house trade divisions (such as electrical, joinery, and painting) alongside specialist external subcontractors, all while nurturing the relationships that keep the business moving.
What Makes You Ideal for This Role?
The Relationship Factor: You excel at building rapport with Facility Managers, Government Agencies, Aged Care providers, and Retail clients. You understand that "building" is as much about people as it is about materials.
Commercial Mindset: You take pride in delivering quality work while staying strictly within budgetary requirements.
Safety First: With safety as a core operational focus for the business, you have a genuine passion for safe practices, from conducting thorough inductions to reviewing SWMS and maintaining a pristine work environment.
Hands-on Leadership: You have a trade background, aren't afraid to "roll up your sleeves" when needed, and have the natural ability to lead diverse, multi-trade teams.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with computer technology and construction software packages (or have the drive to learn).
What Will Make Your Application Stand Out?
Proven Supervision: You have solid experience supervising commercial construction, interior fit-outs, or maintenance sites (and hold a current White Card).
Commitment to the Craft: You can demonstrate a strong track record in the commercial maintenance, retail, or government refurbishment space.
The Right Attitude: You’re motivated to deliver exceptional client outcomes and grow your region, but you also value a positive team culture and don't take yourself too seriously.
Breadth of Knowledge: You understand the "ins and outs" of various construction phases and trade requirements, particularly when coordinating comprehensive cross-functional services.
