Our client, a major institution with sites across Melbourne is seeking a Mechanical/ Electrical biased Project Coordinator to oversee complex building upgrades.
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Engineer/ Project Coordinator with a background in facilities hard services projects who can lead multiple major building upgrades. As the suitable candidate you will have worked in the University, Healthcare or a Pharmaceutical sector and be able to hit the ground running on substation upgrades, access controls and heat pump systems projects. You will have experience in scoping works, delivering briefs, concept design work, preparing tender documentation, appointing consultants and end to end project management.
You will have worked on the following systems:
- BMS, HVAC and Electrical projects
- UPS, BMS, CCTV & Fire detection systems
- Grid and generator power management systems
- Emergency lighting
- Vertical transport systems
Requirements
- A background in FM/ Building Services
- Tertiary qualifications in Mech/Elec Engineering
- Five plus years project experience
- Experience in managing project finances and reporting
- Government tendering experience essential
- Asset lifecycle planning and risk management
