Our client, a publicly listed company, recently achieved a major milestone and is experiencing exciting growth. With full ownership of a key asset in South Australia, the company reaffirms its vision to become a leading global supplier. Based in the Adelaide office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, this newly created role focuses on formalising and modernising procurement strategy and agreements.
Your New Role Will Involve
...Sourcing, negotiating, and executing service agreements for core operational and technical functions to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Managing end-to-end tendering processes to establish key essential service agreements, moving the company toward formalised contracts.
Collaborating with operational stakeholders to develop SOWs, SLAs, and KPIs, as well as managing supplier queries and evaluation.
Procuring a diverse range of equipment and facilities categories.
Prioritising operational outcomes to support front-line teams, allowing them to focus purely on keeping core operations running smoothly.
What You Will Need to Apply
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement of operational support services in a capital-intensive environment.
Comfort working in fast-paced, complex infrastructure environments.
Some experience using ERP systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Ability to collaborate effectively with busy internal project managers and operational staff.
Strong capacity to negotiate, write procurement plans, and conduct data-driven cost analysis.
