Hourly Pay Rate: $82.97 an hour + super ($92.92 an hour inclusive of super)
Daily Pay Rate: $630.57 a day + super ($706.24 a day inclusive of superannuation)

Are you looking to make a significant impact by transforming complex procurement data into actionable business intelligence? We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Data Analyst to lead data analysis, reporting, and systems optimisation. In this role, you will apply category management fundamentals and leverage tools like Power BI and Excel to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Duties of the role include:
Apply procurement (sourcing, operational procurement, contract management, performance, policy, systems) and category management fundamentals to deliver meaningful business intelligence outputs.
- Lead and deliver procurement business intelligence and data management projects/outputs, applying business intelligence and data management tools such as Power BI, Excel, and AI.
Identify and use the most appropriate analytical tools, techniques, and systems to analyse and interpret a wide range of supplier and organisational information and develop reports, forecasts, and advice to inform and support procurement planning and decision-making.
Provide advice, supported by quality business intelligence to management, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring data and concepts are translated for the audience.
Support the development and implementation of best practice principles to business intelligence and data management with a focus on process, and data and document management.
Develop business intelligence and data management system requirements to meet operational and strategic objectives.
- SharePoint development in line with financial and procurement best practice.
Database interrogation with proven capability to extract, analyse, and incorporate relevant data into reporting templates and documents for agency reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Proven experience in data management, extraction, analysis, and presenting key findings to inform business decisions.
Demonstrated ability to navigate and apply procurement policies, operational governance, and sourcing strategies.
Advanced proficiency with software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, data modeling systems, and database applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building collaborative relationships across key stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated agility and sound decision-making skills to manage complex, changing environments while adhering to risk and governance standards.
