process operator | mechanical operator | maintainer (fifo 2:2)

You will be responsible for safely running, checking, and maintaining daily oil and gas plant and field equipment. The main focus is to keep production running smoothly, perform routine preventive maintenance, and safely fix equipment issues to prevent downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run, monitor, and adjust plant and wellhead equipment to ensure safety and steady production flow.

• Perform routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery.

• Issue and follow work permits, conduct safety checks, and respond to emergencies or site hazards.

• Coordinate with site contractors, engineers, and supervisors to keep work safe and on schedule.

• Log operational data, track daily checks, and suggest improvements to cut costs or reduce waste.

Requirements:

• Operational experience in the oil & gas industry (gas production or processing plants).

• Tertiary qualification: process plant operations OR mechanic/engineer/fitter

• Valid driver's licence.

• Solid technical understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical trade skills, and strong commitment to safety procedures.

• $71-85ph (depending on experience)
• Travel day paid
• Working hours: 11h/day
• Site location: Roma
• 1 year contract (possibility to extend)
