We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Principle Cyber Security Operations Consultant to provide specialist expertise and leadership in designing, optimising, and continually improving cyber security operations capabilities. In this role, you will partner closely with leadership to enhance operational effectiveness across threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations within a complex enterprise environment. Key Duties:

• Design Operational Frameworks: Develop, maintain, and optimise governance models, operating procedures, and frameworks for key cyber security disciplines, including incident response and vulnerability management.

• Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer expert cyber security consultation and architectural guidance to technical and business stakeholders to ensure risks and security requirements are integrated into organizational decision-making.

• Optimise Capabilities & Operations: Define the operational utilization of cyber security technologies and integrate threat intelligence, analytics, and GRC insights to enhance threat detection and overall risk reduction.

• Lead Incident & Vulnerability Management: Develop incident response frameworks, escalation pathways, and vulnerability prioritisation models to ensure cyber security incidents and remediation activities are managed effectively.

• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Build executive-level dashboards, operational reporting frameworks, and performance metrics while fostering a security-first, continuous improvement culture.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• Extensive experience across core Cyber Security Operations disciplines, including Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Email Security.

• Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing cyber security operational frameworks, processes, and governance models within complex enterprise environments.

• Proven experience engaging with technical, business, and executive stakeholders, with strong consultation and relationship management capabilities.

• Strong ability to apply threat intelligence, cyber risk management, and GRC principles to improve operational security outcomes.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise cyber security technologies, security operations platforms, and security management tooling (a current NV2 Security Clearance is highly desirable).
