Are you an experienced Policy Officer with strong government writing skills looking for your next contract challenge?

I am currently partnering with several key SA Government clients to support various policy projects and initiatives. We are seeking versatile and highly skilled Policy Professionals across several temporary roles to deliver high-quality policy advice and ministerial documentation across complex regulatory and strategic subject matters.

These critical roles will support high-priority government projects, managing tight deadlines, navigating legislative frameworks, and delivering polished outputs for executive leadership and stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing high-level briefings, Cabinet documentation, Parliamentary Briefing Notes, and correspondence for Ministers and executive leadership.
• Conducting complex policy research, analysis, and technical advice on emerging policy issues and legislative frameworks.
• Leading effective stakeholder engagement, consultations, and working groups across internal and external networks.
• Reviewing state and national legislation, regulations, codes, and associated policy materials.
• Managing complex policy projects and activities within time-critical frameworks.

Ideally you will possess:

• Proven experience working within a government environment across policy development or strategic policy roles.
• Exceptional written communication skills with extensive experience preparing ministerial briefings, Cabinet papers, and complex reports.
• Strong knowledge of parliamentary processes, Cabinet procedures, and government decision-making frameworks.
• High-level analytical skills with the ability to interpret legislation and synthesize complex information quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and confidential information with limited supervision.
